Rave Rally Outcome?

You should provide proof before making such allegations. I call bullshit on your home invasions, and store swarming...ridiculous. How can you tell it wasn't related to the cartel activity in the area? for the example the seven severed heads recently found in Joco? Is that the Rave as well?

I'm with you lotusflower...too much heresay, chisme, urban gossip, etc.
Public lewdness, home invasions, vandalism, robberies.......
How much/many were reported and documented....verified.  How many witnesses were sworn to testimony.
This is village street talk that nobody can refute because it's now been planted in the minds of many who weren't even there.

Probably if you know people who live in the 6 Esquinas area, you would have heard it from the "horses' mouths." You probably don't live here or do not have contacts in the Mexican community.

If there isn't some official action of arrests or denuncias being filed for illegal activities by someone, and someone being convicted of same, all you have is a lot of heresay evidence, which I take with a grain of salt. Much the same as when I read about a group of people that see an UFO.....they saw something.
I am no proponent for "raves" and if there was never another one in the world I could care less. It's just that the hype of the behaviour of the participants for this unpopular event was going over the top without more substantiation than so called " I heard from someone accounts"

When a friend calls to tell me that she sees a strange man on a wall three houses over, and then hears gun shots, and the estatales are beginning to swarm you get it from the source.  The rest of the story is that the second man is in the small garden at the back, the friends who live there are on the floor as the shots are occurring.....the police get both men.  This, in Six Corners....and then others call to tell you they are disgusted by the filth from 'gente cagando e orinando, ebrios, donde quiera' in the same area....and yes most of the calls and later discussions are regarding their ire at the filth, the traffic, the drunk and drugged kids and maybe not so kids lurching around etc.   10% of the calls and discussions were with expats, the rest with Mexicans.   And, yes, I am fluent in Spanish and like La Chula, quite involved in the local community.  I may have posted elsewhere that I sent an email complaint to our Presidente on behalf of myself and forty Mexican neighbors..I just happened to have an iPad in my hand at the moment.

have been.  Ferias, fiestas, etc do regretfully attract a criminal element taking advantage of the chaos and of course it's absolutely possible that there were cartel members active in some way, most probably the narco menudistas selling to the crowds...the petty stuff that went on really more likely drugged, drunken attendees. We personally saw drunks being picked up in front of farmacias......and elsewhere. And there were state police all over.

slainte, you know very well that most people are not going to file official denuncias. But in a community the size of our pueblo, chatter moves quickly....and is usually largely based in reality.

You can call BS all you want, however small abarrotes or tiendas in the area were overwhelmed....confirmed. And btw you give yourself away every time dear lotus; the seven severed heads were not found in Jocotepec, but in Zacoalco de Torrres.

not to mention graffitti, drunkedness, public urinating and defecating.

When it comes to "raves", I could care less, but I'm not quite sure how to quantify the amount of lesser care that it would drop to...very subjective. If you have a formula to determine the amount of, or lack of, care...I'm willing to learn.
