Outlook-outgoing mail server settings-Telemex
Moved down here a few days ago, use Outlook for my business email ie: me@mycompany.com, can still receive emails but cannot send from Outlook. Does anyone know the outgoing mail server settings for Telemex and used them successfully with Outlook to solve this issue?
Thanks

Answered my own question, for others having the same problem go to http://www.smtp2go.com/. You change your outgoing email server information to one provided by them and Ba-da-boom back in business sending my business emails using Outlook. Service is free for up to 20 emails per day, or 9 bucks per month for unlimited...works good so far.

Standard problem with outlook down here and Telmex. Everybody pretty much has to change settings to send. Is the same problem with Telecable? Anybody know?

SMTP server set to 587 usually solves it

If 587 does not work, call TelMex and ask them if it is blocked in your modem. This used to happen frequently. Failing that, one call also sign up for GMail and use their SMTP servers.
