Saturday Night Rock 'n Roll near lower La Floresta
I need help solving a mystery, and would be grateful for the community's input. Nearly every Saturday night around 11:00 or so, my wife and I hear a really great band jamming out the tried and true classic rock of the 60's and 70's. The band is close enough to our residence in lower La Floresta (one block up from Camino Real) that we can tell which songs they are playing and most of the words. We cannot, however, determine WHERE the music is coming from.
Does anyone out there have an idea what the venue is, and who is this fantastic band?
Thanks for your suggestions!

I live near the Vela in Chapala and hear it too. I particularly like their half-hour-long version of Gloria.

Thanks, Smartalex, but I doubt we are hearing the same band... it sounds like you are a long way away from La Floresta. I can't say I've ever heard them play "Gloria", but I have heard them play a lot of Doors, Zeppelin, The Who, and last night was a Pink Floyd free for all... they really jammed it out!
Sound plays tricks, and walking in search of the source has proven unsuccessful. Surely someone out there lives close enough that they are kept awake on Saturday nights and can fill me in on where the music is coming from. Is it, by chance, El Barco?

There was a band (I didn't catch their name) at El Barco last night playing some Pink Floyd around 9:00pm. At 10:30 another band, Mike & the Suspects, were playing.
The sound must be playing tricks too cause up close and personal that early band sucked.......

Thanks, Bob! The "tip" is appreciated... we'll walk on up there next Saturday night and see if the "mystery" is solved.
Whoever was playing after midnight was seriously rockin'... don't know about the earlier band; their equipment must not broadcast as far because we couldn't hear them.
