Come to the BAR-K in San Antonio Saturday (9/27) for a night of blues, classic rock, reggae, folk, covers and originals by Daniel Cordero. A rare opportunity, as he appears almost exclusively in Guadalajara and resort areas now.

Bar-K -- pronounced Mexican-style as Bar-kah -- is a brand NEW bar, only open about a month, so still becoming known. They have a good-sized indoor section and large outdoor area also, which is where Dan will be. He says they have fixed the place up nicely. Dan is hoping the weather will be super. It is kind of a bluesy pop rock bar, planned as a venue for live entertainment and no cover.

It is a door or two above the northwest corner of the San Antonio plaza, right across from the Supermercado.

To get there, turn toward the lake at the old Mailboxes Etc. It is one way going down to the east side of the plaza. Circle around the plaza on the south and come back UP (one way going up). Just past the plaza the bar is on the right.

I was told 8:30, but that could be more like 9:00 "Mexican time."
