Time to help Hector in Ajijic

We need help to get some money to Hector in Ajijic so he can continue the kids program on Sat. which is doing a great job of keeping things clean
here. I gave 500P and a friend from LCS gave 500P (thanks friend) but he needs more money. He also needs money to keep going with the paint
and curb program. Already some workers have been sent home.

I know folks ask for pesos here all the time and sometimes it is difficult to help but if you can this is a great cause and you can meet Hector.

I will be taking him $1500 pesos later today from Inside lakeside and a couple of other generous donors.

Did someone say it would cost 1000 pesos a day to keep up the work? If someone set up a paypal account, perhaps the snow birds who live in Ajijic would send in money so their town would be improved when they come back. Improving the community means improving their daily experience and property values so they have skin in the game.

I met Hector on the Malecon this morning. He was with two young boys, in suits and ties, who he said were "Delegado's" for the day. I gave him our donations and he took the time to explain to these young boys what just took place. They both smiled broadly and thanked us for the donations to help improve their town. Very nice to see.
