Nope...unless you're living in Mexico and are within a 100 mile radius of the place where they're growing.

Personally, I'm as green as possible BUT I'm not gonna go overboard. I like ice in my diet coke and I need a refrigerator 'cuz I don't want to shop and consume daily...and I need a place to stash BUTTER (that's made in New Zealand)

Butter freezes just fine, as we've discovered by trying it.

ANYTHING will do with plenty of butter.

I like to rate foods as to their effectiveness as "butter delivery systems". While brussel sprouts are good I find baked potatoes even more effective.

Yes, but you are talking "class". When I was a heavy drinker, I preferred good scotch but would settle for muscatel wine....and my point was "hiding the butter" like a true butterholic....between the layers of pancakes.

P.S. I'll come to your place for popcorn if you will slip out to the back alley for some panckakes with me.

I am a social butter imbiber--can stop anytime I want. I just never want. Besides, real butter on popcorn is virtually invisible--until your teeth break apart that morsel and the butter whispers the true name of god along your taste buds with salt trailing behind in a faint echo.

Can't prove it at this stage but there was one or more posts in front of my comment. The forum gremlins at work once again?

The thread got split off from "New family member" in pets. It was actually an off the cuff remark about brussel sprouts from Hockables. It's not nice to call Cbob a Gremlin when he was just trying to keep his thread on track.

If there's anything I hate more than pit bulls, its brussel sprouts.
