Murder of Jalisco secretary of tourism

This afternoon, around 3 pm, the Jalisco secretary of tourism, got murdered in Guadalajara. All police received the red alert code, basically meaning, to watch out for possible fights with criminal groups.
The man had only been in office for a couple of weeks.
Important enough for all of us to know.

The Sec't of Tourism who was the person executed, is not the Sec't of State and they came into office March 1.

yes.... you are right "secretary of tourism, not state", my mistake.... just corrected it.

Was our hot topic of conversation last night, some news sources say it was due to business dealings but others opine that maybe someone is sending a message. We will never know the real truth.

In the overall scheme of things,why would we be privy to it?
