A Friend in Need Empty A Friend in Need

Post by Splashingcolor Sun Feb 17, 2013 7:32 am

Sasha Conway, a friend and neighbor, fellow board member (screen name Saege007) and business owner who advertises here, fell broke her ankle. She lives alone in a second floor apartment in Chapala and is unable to walk. As her doctor bills and lost income will have a catastrophic affect I'd like to help her by doing a couple of things.

#1. Making a public plea for financial support.
#2. Contributing pesos and picking up any donations to help her out.

I think the other bases (food etc.) are covered so it comes to this, without some financial aide she will be in dire straights. Estimated time out of work, 6 weeks. Estimated costs,11,000 pesos.

If you can help please PM me or e-mail Sasha directly at Hairbysasha@me.com

Thanks in advance, all help is much needed and greatly appreciated.

P.S   Sasha was very reluctant let me post this but I insisted. She needs help and I think we can help her in her time of need.

Very sorry to hear that Sasha has hurt herself - she is a very nice young lady. She does have parents who live in Ajijic so I'm sure they will be helping her out financially.

Sasha's parents are retired on a fixed income. They are helping as much as they can both financially and helping her around the house... but loosing 2+ months worth of income can set us all back.

We are not asking for excessive donations, just small donations to get her through. She has self supported herself for the last 3 years, and has living expenses. She lives on what she makes, and does not rely on her parents.

For all of you that have enjoyed Sasha's work in the last 3 years, pay forward what you would normally pay for ONE haircut/color/service.

Just One "ACT of Kindness"
