I remember teaching youmg hunters... trying to impress upon them the very real dangers of hunting big game in the wilderness...

When you attempt to call an Elk... you are making the call of another Male Elk...
If your Elk responds to your call... he's crashing thru that bush ta kick yer ass

When you attempt to call in a Moose... you are making the call of Mrs Moose...
Your Moose is crashing thru the bush for something entirely different!!
