When you attempt to call an Elk... you are making the call of another Male Elk...
If your Elk responds to your call... he's crashing thru that bush ta kick yer ass

When you attempt to call in a Moose... you are making the call of Mrs Moose...
Your Moose is crashing thru the bush for something entirely different!!

Weellllll, there ya have it....somebody played a practical joke on Mr. Moose and made the call of a Mrs. Moose while standing by the statue of that bison.
I'd say that was Identity Theft.
