I expect people all over Canada are rejoicing and breathing a sigh of relief. Ted Cruz has announced he is taking steps to renounce his Canadian Citizenship. You no longer need worry he will flee to Canada when folks finally tire of him here.

Conrad Black renounced his Canadian citizenship so that he could become a baron.
He was later convicted and served time in a US "prison" and then managed to worm his way back in to Canada.
I suspect that Ted will find a way back also, when the US is finished with him.
As far as I am concerned, the US can have them both.  Beer Beer
