What are you Doing for Christmas?
What are you doing for Christmas?
Are you eating out at a Restaurant, if so which one?
Or are you having guests for Dinner at your home? What are you cooking? Your menu.

I have invited a couple of people over for a roasted pork tenderloin (costco), a corn dish, salad, whole and jellied cranberry sauce, pumpkin torte for dessert.
And you John, what is on your menu and how many guest are you host to?

Re: What are you Doing for Christmas?
We’re going to friend’s house and there will be ten of us. We’ll all bring several dishes with the Host doing the major ones; the “Newbie” got stuck with drinks. Yes this is typical with this group but he can easily afford this cost and has joined us many times where he was never expected or did contribute anything (single man). And yes we’ll tease the Hell out of him. It’s good to have good friends.

Getting away from the coommercial noise, etc
Hooking up to my fishing rig & traveling to a nice lake & bass fishing.
We will have a nice picnic lunch & share the gift of love...

10 of us going to Roberto's for Christmas Eve. Good looking menu. Christmas day will be Skype calls to family across the US, following the time zones.

As little as possible. Bellini's for breakfast, eggs benedict, phone calls gift opening, and staying in my finest Japanese kimono all day.
Perhaps a stuffed chicken a la Raq for dinner.
I have already done quite enough celebrating with some more to come.

My mother always wore a red kimono on Christmas. I'm going to a friend with my homemade rolls & I'm making a lemon mousse cake for dessert. I'm sort of chocolate-d out.

Zed - don't be so sure about that. I love Space network and Sci-Fi. I may be watching too, that is, if I can get the remote out of hubby's hand!

If I ever made a statement like that hubby would certainly be calling for an emergency ambulance, knowing there was something terribly wrong with me!!

I like your spirit! (As long as it’s machine pre-wrapped, is that expected here?)

Nice gesture but maybe you should wait a couple of weeks. Why confuse the local tradition? Mexican kids receive their gifts on Three Kings day--the day the wise men allegedly gave their gifts to the baby Jesus. In much of Northern Europe kids get their gifts of St. Nicholas day on December 6. I know that US/Canadian traditions are found here, but Christmas Day is nothing special for most Mexicans. Christmas Eve, yes, Christmas Day, no.
John, I'll be at a friend's house for dinner. Will have a party at my house on Christmas Eve.

Oh, hope it didn't come across as if I were implying something. Just commenting on the way it unintentionally read.

We are staying quietly at home. Will go through picture albums, both digital and print, and reminisce about the past. Maybe will finally get around to putting the silly antler sets on the horses and taking some pictures.
