I tried the Express Oil change place that is right across the Librementio from Lake Taco (in the yellow Barhdol building). They had many choices of oil (Quaker State, Penzoil, Castrol and several others) I asked them to use Castrol Oil and a Fram oil filter. It took about 15 minutes...jaja. The charge came to $495.00 pesos with the breakdown as follows:

5 litres Castrol 10w/40 = $375 pesos
Fram Filter = $60 pesos
Labor = $60 pesos

Seemed reasonable to me. They were very quick and courteous. The owner speaks a little English.

I will use them again.

And plan to pay dearly for it, like maybe 50 pesos a quart?
