I need an oven thermometer

...the kind that will sit on the oven rack...big enough to read through the oven window. tried SuperLake, Torrito, Megafoods, Soriano, Walmart..no luck. Any ideas?

Also on TOB: try the "miscellany" store near the Bancomer on the street opposite the Ajijic Plaza.

Super Lake will be way too expensive.

Of course SuperRip is too expensive...they used to have them..over 200 pesos. But price was not the question John, WHERE is the question...Please focus.

Good idea Gringal...I've found a lot of obscure stuff there over the years.

That store on the south side of the Ajijic plaza, often referred to as the "Dollar Store", is an absolute treasure. It's taken a long time to learn, but now I go look there FIRST for random items that I *think* I should be able to find elsewhere.

The consignment store on Morelos in Chapala, close to Post 7 Legion, had several a week or two ago. Try them

Super Lake does have alot of them.
