They're Back!
Noticed on Friday there was that incoming swell of new fancy SUVs and well-coiffed and made-up faces about town. Traffic worse than usual. sigh Good for the businesses.
Apparently you can't turn right on red in North Carolina. . .

Are you talking about Ajijic and what does NC have to do with it.
You can turn any direction you want in Ajijic regardless of signs and lights. The Mexicans do it all the time.

Apparently people with No Carolina plates don't know they can turn left on red lights and are known to sit and wait for the green light. Thus messing up traffic. Or are often asleep at the wheel.johninajijic wrote:Trailrunner wrote:Noticed on Friday there was that incoming swell of new fancy SUVs and well-coiffed and made-up faces about town. How about a Texan I saw running a red light yesterday in San Antonio. He stopped at it, looked and went right through the light.

Be careful, that well done makeup is just to cover up all those northern diseases they're bringing with them. Don't be fooled.

The transitos will return in droves, such good pickins'. I can avoid THE SCENE by skirting through La Floresta.
You can tell the Texans because you can hear them even with their windows rolled up and their AC on.

And by the dead giveaway that they require synchronized windshield wipers on both the inside and outside of their windshields.
