My wife said she needed something to listen to when I take my siesta. So I had to find a solution(as usual). She also said why do we still pay for Sirius radio. Sooooo I pulled the components out and set them up(buried in boxes). Hmmmmm nice music. Problem solved. LOL

SunsetKid.

My wife just returned from New York with a new Sirius radio we wanted for our home stereo.

The pimply-faced techno wiz at Best Buy unknowingly ( I trust) sold her the car kit model instead. Insisting it would work with our existing home audio setup - NOT. I'm now waiting for our daughter to come down for a visit in October carrying the $49.95 home installation kit.

Retailers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also XM Radio. Or just just download an app to your smart phone or computer, like tuneIn Radio and then play your favorite radio stations over or through whatever speaker system you choose. (I link via blue-touth from my iPhone to speakers)

Or, listen to the music channels provided over satellite (Shaw, DISH, DirecTV, Sky etc) or listen via the digital Telecable channels in the 900 to 999 range. Or use the iTunes softeware and listen to any number of radio stations from around the world

There are no end of options out there. You could even try listening over your FM radio (It helps to have an outdoor FM antenna for better reception

There are so many options

The one thing I like about the TuneIn Radio "app" is that I can listen to my favorite music station (CIOC, the Ocean) from Vancouver Island be I up north or anywhere with reasonable internet or reasonable G3 or G4 cell phone speed

I have two of these Logitech Squeezebox Radio and really love 'em. I mainly listen to Pandora but that is just me being too damned lazy to really explore all the options. Love Pandora comedy channels and they're free!
