Our local Cruz Roja has some of the cutest paramedics I have seen. Also, everyone there has been super nice the couple of times I have been in there (once for xrays for my mom, and once with my friend who got bit by a dog).

Any word on how much was raised for our local Cruz Roja through the Telmex donation thing?

Yep, I think we have the cutest paramedics too. Not only that but they are very dedicated to their jobs, really fun to work with, and compassionate people. Actually everyone who works at CR Chapala is great. I love the time I spend there.

We have a new doctor too, he is a gringo, bi-lingual, and got his medical training in Guad. Stop by and meet him, he's a good guy too - Dr. Sam.

Frijoles, I have no idea. But, if you go to the volunteers website, they might list it or you might find someone there to ask. I hope it was a lot! We need so much from sheets to a new building. The need is great and it never ends.
