Would anyone be interested in a "game day"?

I am thinking once a month on a rotating basis, with everyone bringing their own drinks, and a snack to share. Host will be responsible for ice, plasticware, etc. This will take a while to sort out, but let me know if you have any interest, and I will pursue this if you do. Would be more than happy to be the first host and all we need to get this started is a table of four. chico

No idea. The concept just hit me today and it needs a lot of working out. Just exploring the idea to see if there is any interest in me moving forward with it. chico

It's great that you are offering this Chico. but seriously now that I am retired, I don't have enough time to do what needs to be done, let alone play fun games.

For example we go to school Friday mornings at the LCS. Actually the Msft club and the iPhone/pad/touch etc clubs meet for almost 4 hours counting lunch, so as much as I would like to take advantage of what you are offering, seriously, I don't have the time.

I could go on boring you to death telling you all of the other things I do that keep me busy, but that would be hijacking this topic.

What was that other game we used to play..Jardts? You threw them & they stuck in the lawn!! Such Fun!!...and nobedy ever had their feelings hurt!...then we all had a nice bowl of pablum and sang happy songs...Oh Yes...LETS!

Hocks...I can't play darts worth a damn...crappy eyes. So you'd be winnin' all the beers which is just as well 'cuz I don't drink.

Is there an Archery Range anywhere Lakeside? I might like to bring down a couple of Bows...

Thanks, everyone. Clearly little interest. Would there be an increase in interest if this was a members only, singles only game day? Not trying to beat a dead horse, just trying to change the venue to where us single folks have a chance to meet and greet and play games and get to know each other. No more posts from me on this topic without a few positive responses. Thanks. chico
