Assuming you can edit the code .... just add target="_blank"

So far I try to look at them to see what is new.

I know many of us are very appreciative of the work done by you and your moderators. It's fun to have a choice, you know another active forum.

THANKS FOR THE GREAT WORK

Yes , I think we are all appreciative of this board...even we who have nothing to advertise.
It is professional, and CB, you seem to have found a way to balance the inane, the mundane and the arcane in a way that is interesting, informative, and a certain amount of venting, ranting, and flaming that is very healthy for the community as it decreases murders and suicides.
Keep up the good work and many moons more of continued success Surte

The only thing I would mildly disagree with you Pete is the last sentence of your post.....I probably would have said..."you know, THE MOST, active forum.

With all of this success - can a Facebook style IPO be on the horizon?

To ensure equal airtime for all our sponsors I have changed the code so the Banner Ads will now switch randomly with every click versus a set slideshow where the #1 position was getting more airtime.

I've been posting on a lot of forums over the last 6 or so years. This is, by far, THE BEST! A great job of balance...even for those of us that are unbalanced.

Thanks Ferret. Of course the number one reason we have such a great board is our vast array of great members with such unique personalities. I also spend an inordinate amount of time massaging things on this forum. I have put over 2 years into it now with an average of 2 - 3 hours per day, every day. That could also be some of the difference between our board and the others, where the admin hardly ever visits and leaves it in the hands of volunteer mods that have no admin controls or programming abilities.

Hello all, a few members have commented that they see an AD they are interested in and want a way to quickly get back to it versus clicking until it pops up again. I experimented with a "side bar list" but didn't like the look of it. What I settled on was to add all the advertisers to the footer at the bottom of the page. If you click on their name it will take you to their website. I welcome any other comments or suggestions you may have.

I like this better. I was trying to get hold of one of the advertisers a few days ago & couldn't figure out how to get to their ad. This is much easier.

Bob, nice job locating at the bottom. I checked out a couple too and was especially impressed with Have Hammers Will Travel.
