Yep. Welcome to the next generation. Seems like you have been out of the loop on my many posts about this subject. Hopefully you will patronize these local businesses who are now partially paying for this forum that we all enjoy.

BTW.....if you click on any of the ads it will take you directly to their websites where you can get more information about them.

If you know of any other businesses who want this large amount of exposure to the gringo community please tell them about Inside Lakeside send them in our direction. I would appreciate all the help I can get on this one.

What do the banner ads cost, CBob?

I think they're fine, nice and low key and local.

Larger businesses - $200.00 pesos per month.
Smaller businesses - $150.00 pesos per month.

That will include all the banner ad graphic design, on-going maintenance for design changes and a 1 page info website for those that don't currently have a website. This is far less than what some of the other local web sites are charging for banner ads and they don't have a fraction of the traffic we do.

I can also design larger more elaborate websites for those that want one for an additional cost (usually 2500 to 5000 pesos depending on the complexity).

Is "Fearless" who I think he is ? CB perchance ? Other than digging around inside this esteemed forum you are advertising "lite". Personally, with a visit due, I'm curious about your place.

You got it border, Fearless Leader is CB, a man who's absolute power I can only compare to Kim Jong Un's. Fortunately our Fearless is a nice guy. We haven't advertised in a few years and are pretty much booked going forward but having our name in lights for 150 pesos a month? Pffft, Vegas baby, the big time! Anyway, the ad will have a link to photos, pricing and contact information and you can e-mail me to see if we have any open dates that fit your visit. We'd love to have you.

RoofBob I like yours the best - love looking at the photos of your interior. If I didn't already have a house I'd come live there!

Why thank you for the compliment simpsca and thanks for the opportunity to brag about my lovely and charming wife who supervised all the architectural renovations, paint compositions, furnishings and art work (I was just the bag man). Long story short, seven years ago, after the project's completion and posting pictures, HGTV contacted Candace and wanted to feature our home and have her as a guest on a new segment they were rolling out called Getting It Right. The producers went to some lengths interviewing her and doing her bio etc. but sadly (for us) the new show was canceled. But hey, it was a thrill.

Aw, it really is a good ad RB.
I'd live there too if I didn't already have a house. Amazing job, Candace!

Tech question: why don't the banner links open in a new window like regular links in threads?

Not sure I can make them do it but will add that suggestion to my stage 2 improvement list. For now just hit the "back button" on your browser.

Running this "insidelakeside" forum isn't free. I’m glad you found nice way to get some funding. Heck if you don't like watching, you can always scroll down.

So far I try to look at them to see what is new.

I know many of us are very appreciative of the work done by you and your moderators. It's fun to have a choice, you know another active forum.

THANKS FOR THE GREAT WORK

CG, if you want the banner ads to open in a new window or tab, just right click and scroll down to open in a new tab or window.
