2nd Interantional Cerveza Festival - 7/14 & 7/15 in Morelia
Morelia, home to the International Beer Festival:
"Morelia, Mich., June 10, 20012. - Expocentro the Morelia Convention Center, will host this year's Second International Beer Festival, which takes place on Saturday 14 and Sunday July 15.
According to a press release, exposure, tasting and sale of domestic and imported beers, brewing course "all grain", conferences, pairings and live music performances, as well as an area for artistic expressions of various artists what the public will enjoy.
This year's guest country is Uruguay, so we will know more about their culture through the culture of beer and great food. ...

While Morelia and Michoacán have received a bad rap over the past couple of years because of the cartels, after following the current events in the local media I certainly haven't seen any thing to make us apprehensive. In fact, we will be visiting Patzcuaro and Michoacán in August!
