Sounds like flooding could be the biggest problem. Hope everyone closer to the storm does OK. Of course, with my great powers I am deliberately having it do the worst damage possible to the folks along the coast just so my grass will be greener.

Now if I could just get Solo outside where I can fry him with a lightning bolt. Some people really are a waste of oxygen. razberry

A pretty steady gentle rain. Perfect to get the soil ready to accept the heavier rains that will come. If the ground is rock hard, then the first heavy rain just runs off instead of being absorbed and that creates problems...kinda like the potted plant that you water and the water runs straight through.
We're doing some gardening remodelling here...do I like having to wipe off the dog's paws every time she goes outside? Not really but the rain makes it worth the inconvenience.

Friends on the coast are reporting - Bud Light. Looks like they've dodged the bullet this time. Lucky.

Bud has proven to be pretty much a non event. Petered out as soon as it hit the coast. The good news is that there was no significant damage or flooding. Bad news is that we didn't get much rain from this one.

However, the coolness and reduction in dust is very welcome!

Sunny and beautiful here in Barra. But the beach was eroded once again.
