Perhaps some here could learn from their theme song which I remember from their TV show

Michael Nesmith or the one with the wooly hat. He was actually a musician also. Last train to Clarksville was one of the better songs they did.
They all eventually learned to play quite well. Davy tended to blink his eyes and create stars and sing to the girls. Nice folks actually pretty
down to earth guys. I got to interview them for a radio station. Believe it or not Jimi Hendrix was the warm up band for the monkeys and everybody
ignored Jimi. That didn't last long. Anyway yes Michaels Mom invented white out.
