Every once in a while I post a recommendation and reminder about the finest photo laden blog about Mexico, it's history and cultures around.

Locally and many of the places you will travel in Mexico you will find Jim and Carole's research, findings and insights invaluable in appreciating and knowing the history and where to look for the real treasures most will only pass by. I'm sure you will enjoy: http://cookjmex.blogspot.com/

Second the motion! We consider it a must read before we go touring in Mexico. The information and photos are superb.

Should we put a link to this site at the top of the home page?

Considering that Jim & Carole moved to Mexico in 2007 (newbies by some people's definition), they have certainly set a high standard for people who would like to think that they truly wish to learn and experience all that Mexico has to offer. I have never been able to get a grip if their blog is a collaborative effort or if it is mostly one of their doings. The blog is certainly an interesting read and there is some obvious talent in the photography!

CB:

I noticed that you put a link at the top to Bob & Carole's Mexican Adventure and it should be Jim & Carole's. As a suggestion, it might be better to link to the following: http://cookjmex.blogspot.com/2007/10/getting-started-on-my-blog.html
That takes one to the beginning of the blog while yours take one to the most current entry.

I agree Bob (while I compose a response to Neil's previous post). But blowin a 2.0 now I'll take discretion in posting till the 'morrow, at which time I will probably hate myself. ;-)
