Boaters at Popular Falcon Lake Fear for Their Lives

Mexican drug cartel pirates have made their debut on Falcon Lake in Zapata County Texas. Zapata County's popular Falcon Lake is a new flashpoint in drug war.

Texans have reported seeing armed boatmen on the lake, which hosts some of the largest bass fishing tournaments in the U.S. and shares a border with the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas. Not unlike the infamous in the Gulf of Aden, pirates on this lake have reportedly wielded high-powered rifles and automatic weapons.

I agree Spencer, anywhere but Texas. I can just see some good ol' boys, the ex-special forces types plotting a nostalgic romp to the other side to give the drug dealers what for. Betcha the first Texas fisherman to die on that lake will set off an assault that will spawn a movie starring Chuck Norris as gray-bearded former Navy seal, and I'd pay to see that one.
