Install Starlink

Based on my experience, any handyman can do it for you. All one needs is the app, which they take up (on a cell phone) to the roof to check if Starlink will work for you. The app is checking for an unobstructed view of the sky to connect with the Starlink universe of satellites. Partial obstructions are not a big problem.

When the kit comes, your handyman tales it out of the package, up on the roof, and sets it up, nothing technical to it. Then they connect a cable which runs down into your house to a modem provided by Starlink. Our Starlink receiver (which is about a foot cubed) is sitting on our flat roof with a couple of loose bricks to keep it in place. We have had no problems during the recent rain and wind storms. Our cable runs down on to our veranda, and we set up our modem out there in a spot shielded from the weather. It connects well to the whole house. In our experience, no outages or interruptions.
