Chicken thighs

Where to buy boneless skinless chicken thighs.

I use Puritan Poultry in general for fresh chicken parts. I prefer boneless but skin-on thighs (for grilling) and they cut them off whole birds then debone, as I wait and watch (fast too!).

Have bought the large bags of frozen skinless and boneless thighs through the Costco Shopping Service.  I think a total of 3 kilos, divided into 3 attached 1K packs.

When the Costco frozen thighs are thawed and ready to cook or are they watery or mushy?

Not mushy. Wet, yes. Probably added water and preservatives. I bought once; it was fine but not as good as fresh. Plus I like the skin!

Again, highly recommend Puritan Poultry for fresh. I am sure they will remove skin along with deboning for you. fyi, lots of flavor in that skin. If using in a braise or slow cook or instant pot recipe, I leave on skin during the cooking, remove before serving.

Grilling skin-on thighs is a great option, our go-to method. Crispy skin!
