Transfer Between Terminals at MEX Mexico City Airport

Is the Tram in service these days, or is the bus the only option?  Getting mixed messages when I google.  
Has anyone done this lately?

I'm not 100% certain but I thought I saw it working when I passed through there a month ago.

A long time ago they put us on a transfer bus when tram not working. So there was transportation.

My wife and flew in from Chile yesterday, arriving at Terminal 2. The tram was out of service. We took a T1/T2 bus transfer bus.

Last Saturday we arrived Term 2 (from Campeche); our connection was also Aeromexico and they had an employee at the arrival gate pull aside anyone needing to go to Term 1. She led us to a bus that only served AMX travelers.
