That has always been the case and was previously reported which is why I have always suggested to multiply the results times 10. Now times 12. I just assume that everyone is infected and continue to take the necessary precautions. My intention is to stick around for my two dogs who are 7 and 9 years old. When they've gone to the Rainbow Bridge, I won't care as much.

Apparently the local shots for the 40+ group were poorly attended. This should have been one of the largest groups. Not sure why.

1) There was really short notice that it was taking place
2) The age group is in the work force and there was no extended or changed hours to accommodate them
3) Still young enough to think that they are immortal without giving consideration for others
4) ???

Hopefully not #3. We'll see how the 30+ group turns out. They should have opened up second shots for 50+ if they have extra AZ kicking around.

Yes, I agree that those shots could have been used as second doses for those waiting. There does seem to be an illogical adherence to getting the same vaccine for both shots.
Too early for me since I only got my first AstraZeneca on June 1st. To be honest, I'd LOVE to have Pfizer or Moderna for a second shot but I'll take what I can get when it's time to get it.
