WANTED: Bi-PAP ventilator

It's always something new eh? I may have my newish C-pap for sale in a month or two if you're interested.

There seem to have been some changes in the laws recently. It used to be that CPAP BIPAP machines were sold as a prescription medical device. The only company that filled out all the right paperwork was Resmed. The Mexican prices were double the U.S. You could take a chance ordering from the U.S. but there was always the chance of seizure by customs, even parts. Also, CPAP was not allowed to be sold on Amazon (again, medical specialists).

The machines work for a very long time. I use mine to filter pollens and allergens, but now once I put it on I go to sleep almost immediately
Today, it seems like Amazon and Mercado Libre are now in the game and recently ordered a new facemask and tubes with no problem. There is company called SecondWindCPAP.com. They are a great company and one the few that offers rebuilt, tested and thorughly cleaned units (they will not accept any units which smell of tobacco for example). The savings are very substantial.
Do you need someone to program it. I have sort learned myself but SecondWind has a therapist on full time support.

interesting side story. At the start of the Covid there was a shortage of ventilators. Elon Musk decided to build thousands, but the health authority rejected them, because they were really BI PAP machines. It makes me think there is a pile of BI PAP machines sitting out there for very loprices.
