So, saw a video that said the 8 people were kidnapped to be tortured and then were to be killed to give the cartels the name of a foreigner that is selling drugs and competing with the cartel.

Well I wonder where that foreigner is getting their supply. I doubt anyone would risk their life instead of squealing on a gringo......

It would not surprise me. About 7 or 8 years ago there was a Gringo in Roca Azul who was involved in cartel business got whacked to death when he got mouthy. Goes with the turf.
