Good morning to you all.
I was wondering if anyone here lives in the Chapala Haciendas neighborhood north of lakeside. I have some questions.
If you can help, could you please shoot me an email at david@delcourtaviation.com please.
Thanks very much.

good morning I could not send an e mail, but we have lived in Chapala Haciendas 2 for 11 years and love it lots of construction but pretty quiet most of the time except when people are out walking dogs, a little barking but then it goes away john

Nothing secret to know. It was the first planned subdivision here, meant to appeal those who would prefer a gated community. But they were not allowed to gate it because there is one public road. Many speculated there would be a building boom, but that never happened, and a lot of people have not paid their fees, but that is a minor problem. It is very quiet, with lots green, oxygen rich breezes. Lots of mature gardens. The people are friendly, mix of expat and middle to upper class Mexicans. The internet is reliable, at 10, and power is fairly stable. The water is clean, and they have just added another well. I used to tell people you need a vehicle to live here, but now I am not too sure. Taxis, and delivery of practically everything is affordable. There are not too many lakeview lots if that is important. Very little crime - too easy to get lost on the roads here! If you like a cozy, suburban life, then take trips once in a while, this is the place for you. There is another development here, Brisas de Chapala, which is actually gated.

Want to thank everyone for the tips, info, and the patience to answer all my questions.
I appreciate everyone's willingness to be so helpful and forthcoming.
This was the one neighborhood I didn't explore last year.
Hope everyone is well.
