Walmart and over 60

Can over 60 get into Walmart today.

There were lots of seniors there this morning.

My friend was denied entry to Oxxo today. Over 60.

I’ll go Sunday and see if I can get in.

A friend was denied entrance to Soriana this morning.

I went to 10 different businesses this AM, including Walmart and Oxxo (SAT, en frente Chula Vista), and had  no problem and I am way over 60.
Pulled my baseball cap low and my face mask high so they could only see my eyeballs.
At Pancho´s they asked me how old I was, I said 59.....good to go

Yeah Pete, I have to grow up and act my age. I´ve tried, but it´s hard to do....maybe in my next century....

My spouse and I just turned 59. At least for the next two weeks.

Is there a restriction on over 60 being able to shop now?, Can we still breathe?

While stores may try to deny you entry, they can't because the lock down specifically says that people can go to the pharmacy, docs appointments or grocery shopping.  The stores are being over zealous initially, but by now it should all be OK. The original notice said you "should not" go out if you are over 60--it's not an obligation.

Gamina how do you say "should not "in Spanish?.. All I read is that they were using the words "no deben"..

Someone posted this on FB.  Downtown Ajijic.   
I rarely go to OXXO, but had workers at the house today and needed more cold cokes for them.  OXXO is closest place with cold cokes in cans.
Either I look younger than I am   ; or more likely, as with most rules in MEX, they are simply suggestions,  The young man undid the chain for me as I approached the doorway and never asked my age.  
I was the only customer in store, btw.
 

I was turned away at Costco today

Big sign now at Walmart but allowing us old people in. No problema.
