solar flares and eclipse

Our friend, the Sun, has reawakened its storm season after being placid for many years. There will be some very powerful flares which will arrive on Earth for the next few years. The Northern Lights will be seen as far as Oregon, if you are at higher elevations. The corona of the sun can seen during a total eclipse. I saw this amazing image of a total eclipse during a solar storm, and that lead me to this website. A company which specialises in creating digital images to recreate scientific events.
