Is it raining there?
Raining cats and dogs for a while here in Guad by parque Colomos. Wondering if it is raining in Chapala so I can drive home.

No rain here yet, I think it moved east because a friend near la barranca just posted it was raining. Although there are clouds, no rain yet.

No rain yet but it's very dark and cloudy - looks like it "might" rain.

If one can be in the vicinity of Parque Colomos, why on earth would they want to drive to Chapala rain or no rain? Maybe to go to work but it´s Sunday, after all. Want to trade a home at Lakeside for a home adjacent to Parque Colomos? Please exhibit some standards my boy. At least here you will, perhaps, be among the few with original teeth.
Ahem, it did not rain here in Ajijic today nor was there any hint it might rain. A fine day by the lake. I´ll still trade.

I work at the court tomorrow and would rather not risk accidents, traffic, etc and be able to go into the office first. Was fun spending the weekend in Guad, the breakfast buffet at Palacio de Hierro at Plaza Andares was crappy, wouldn't recommend it.
Rained in Guad but dry here, maybe it will come in the middle of the night but maybe not!?

I'm amazed, however if this keeps up I will make the ultimate sacrifice for the well being of board members and have my car, the worst lakeside, washed.

For those that are not aware of this phenomena the better half always says it will rain today because I washed the car and in general it’s true, why I haven’t got a clue. (maybe the arthritis kick in, who knows) However I would like to thank “raqueteer” for stepping up to the plate as the better half is out of town and the lake needs the water.

The deed has been done, it's getting cloudy, dark, and I just heard thunder. It was nothing but clear blue when I took it in BTW.

Lees chance than a snowball in hell Bob. This was a big job, for big equipment and real men, not a cigarette smokin', rum drinkin', little old granny.
Solovino, looks like it's coming from your direction.

"In San Antonio Tlayacapan"
What are you doing spelling out the entire name? I was told by a "Lake Chapala Destination Expert" on TripAdvisor that everyone uses SAT after I confronted this person about being disrespectful for using GUAD.

Re: Is it raining there?
We just had between one and two inches of hale in SJC - about the size of large lima beans. I have a bird in the house - came in to get protection. Now I have to go find him before my dog does.

The Lake Chapala weather station is showing .13" in Riberas.
Chapalagringa:
The designated "Lake Chapala Destination Expert" claims to have lived at the Lake since 2006. She is a member of TOB but probably 90 to 95% of her posts/reviews on TripAdvisor are for Puerta Vallarta, Acapulco and other tourist destinations. Her contributions on Lake Chapala are miniscule and she has been totally ineffective at promoting the area!
Yesiree, I went to SAT today or was it, I took my SAT's today?

Re: Is it raining there?
Upper East Ajijic...a wonderful rain storm but, thankfully, no hail. The air smells divine and it's still spitting a bit.
The storm is still going on at the west end of the lake complete with thunder and lightening.
Variation around the lake? You betcha...but don't tell John.

I'll probably have dead birds in the yard tomorrow. Have to go get them before my dog has and early breakfast.

Yep, when I wash that car, every 6 months, whether it needs it or not, things happen.
This time hail, fire and brimstone. Oh all right forget the fire and brimstone. We did get the hail however.

Above the Careterra in Ajijic we had .69 and a little bit of hail. It's nice to see. I was starting to think the rainy season was over. This may be the last though.
