How does NYT article differ from what you are saying?

I wish there was something more substantial on this. Both articles use the word “believe” which makes the idea pie in the sky.

Re: More on the virus
There are lots of articles on google about the immune boosting function of CBD and the anti-inflammatory function and the anti-stress function.
The biggest problem is getting quality CBD that is third party tested and actually contains what it says it does. So very many charlatans have jumped into the fray.
Right now, with Alex Peterson on sabbatical (thanks Covid-19) and his trips to Laredo on hold, my supply from NuLeaf Natural has dried up. I still have some chocolate mint stuff from Charlotte's web but it is not as good. And the flavour truly sucks.
You are located IN the U.S. so either NuLeaf Natural or Charlotte's Web is easily available to you... right to your door.

Re: More on the virus
I looked at the site. There are very few reviews and I can't find any way to check the testing or how it's grown or how it's extracted. Also wonder why you would buy from a European country when it's right in your own backyard.
I like NuLeaf. It doesn't get much more transparent than this...
https://nuleafnaturals.com/batch-reports/
Full spectrum CBD from organically grown hemp.
If you're comparing pricing, make sure to check the concentration and bottle size. I take 2 drops sublingually of 1450 mg. CBD once in the morning and again at 6 pm.

Re: More on the virus
I didn’t see the 1450 size on their web site but all the concentrations seem to be the same (60mg/ml) just different size bottles. At 10 drops per ml does that mean your taking 12 mg dose each time?

Re: More on the virus
Just re-read their info. It states 3 mg/drop

Re: More on the virus
You got it!
The 1450 mg. 30 ml. bottle is no longer available. They have increased the concentration... which is good because it lasts longer and you can take less.
The low end of dosage is to take 5 mg and that's where you start ONCE a day.
The concentration on the bottle is for the WHOLE bottle no matter what its size is. General rule of thumb is that there are 20 drops per ml.
So my 30 ml. bottle (I have a LOT of empties) contained 20 drops x 30 ml equals 600 drops in the bottle. Concentration per drop is 1450 mg. divided by 600 drops equals 2.42 mg. per drop.
Two drops sublingually morning and night works for me.
I will have to do a little adjusting with the newer concentrations... like 1 drop in the am and 2 in the pm... or vice versa.

There's no problem bringing CBD across the border? Thanks.

You can't do it yourself apparently by either plane or car. It must go through Aduana. That's what the extra 16% is for with Alex. Somehow, if it goes through Aduana in Mexico City, it takes FOREVER to get here (up to three months).

Comes sealed. And there is absolutely nothing psychotropic about it.

When I lived in Canada, I had extensive gardens both front and back and lots of poppies. Now there are all kinds of poppies- I did have opium poppies (believe it or not, they just appeared there one summer and reseeded all over- seeds must have been dropped by birds) in the back garden, as well as Shirley poppies and California poppies, all of which are annuals, and a big oriental poppy plant, a perennial, in the front garden. All the annuals contain some amount of opium content, but aside from the actual opium poppies, the pods are too small on the other types, and the amount too weak, to make it worthwhile to extract it.
The oriental poppies, however, have no opium content at all, although they make large pods. So I had a good laugh one day when I came out to find that someone had cut off all the oriental poppy seed pods. I'm sure they thought they'd get high on them.

It was a Mexican truck driver hauling a load from the USA who stopped in Monclova, Coahuila about 3 months ago and promptly infected more than two dozen of the hospital staff who came into contact with him. At least one doctor died. When I crossed at Laredo a few weeks ago on the day the new trade agreement USMCA went into effect there were hundreds of trucks in line to cross into the US. I finally crossed the median and drove against oncoming traffic (following the rabbit) to get to the bridge. Truck traffic is now exploding.

Re: More on the virus
Sadly Mexico is no safe haven...""""This week, López-Gatell expressed concerns about the virus’s resurgence in areas that had reopened too quickly – only to be contradicted by the president, who insisted that “going out to the street is necessary, if we earn our living on the street”.
Mexico has one of the lowest testing rates in the world, at approximately 2.5 tests per confirmed case, compared with the US rate of 12.52, the UK’s 22.57 – and New Zealand’s rate of 359.2.
Officials have admitted that lack of testing contributes to an undercounting of Covid cases and deaths, even in the country’s capital."""

I'm putting this out there to consider... the virus is now raging in the hottest parts of the U.S.
Could air conditioning have anything to do with the spread?

Well like trump says "if you reduce your testing you reduce your numbers"!! Guess he got the idea from AMLO.lakeside7 wrote:Sadly Mexico is no safe haven...""""This week, López-Gatell expressed concerns about the virus’s resurgence in areas that had reopened too quickly – only to be contradicted by the president, who insisted that “going out to the street is necessary, if we earn our living on the street”.

That’s only one factor. There’s also cookouts, beer drinking in other social settings like pool parties , beach parties, etc, etc. Supposedly public buildings use virus filtering AC.

Re: More on the virus
It's just one more thing to consider Jreboll. I was always amazed, when we lived in Nayarit, the number of people who had NEVER had their air conditioner's serviced. It is very important to have it cleaned, disinfected (tubing) and serviced annually.
All the other things you mentioned are "in your face" stupid things for people to be doing right now.
