I enjoyed the music but most of all I LOVE the lady's spirit and individuality. When life bites you in the ass, slap a bandaid on it and carry on.
I first saw her on (of all things) The Smothers Brothers Show. Knew she would be big and always followed her music. She is bigger than life to me and always will be.

Thanks for this. We chromecast it to our tv last night. Been a fan of hers almost from the beginning. Loved seeing all the old clips and very poignant to see her now coping so well with a wretched disease.

Thank you so much for posting this documentary. I lived next door to her for about 2 years in Topanga canyon in the late 60's. I was hoping it would have a little more about how she has adapted to a life from being the Beyonce of her time to her current situation. She had already done her Stone Ponies album at that time but her real stardom was yet to come when I knew her. I didn't see a lot of her because she a very busy gal.
I also appreciate your contributions to the Corona virus thread.

Didn't she do a great album of Mexican songs, as a tribute to her father? Many popular singers have done this - the worst is by Nat King Cole. Fluent Spanish speakers would laugh at the horrible accent and missed wordings. Wonderful voice though.

She made two CDs but the second one is hard to find. She made one DVD and its fantastic.
