1-800 Numbers
It was my understanding that the following applied if you were calling various 1-800 numbers in Canada from Ajijic: 800 use 880; 888 use 881; 877 use 882; 886 use 883.
I used 001-880 & was charged for it on my recent Telmex invoice. Granted, I was on hold for a significant amount of time, but still thought it would be a free call. Can someone clarify for me please? Gracias

It's not free from here to the border. Free after that. These alternate numbers simply allow you get it to ring in another country.
