Which Mexican Consulate in the US Grants Same Day Permanente Visa Application
First time posting here. We are ready to apply for Resident Permanente.
We are still working but flexible to work remotely and we purchased a house near Black Coffee 4 years ago.
Our questions are:
Was anyone ever granted Permanente Visa while still working?
Which Consulate do you recommend based on our situation?
Is there any Consulate Grant's same day Visa if we have complete paperwork?
We are willing to travel any Consulate if need to.
We appreciate your help.

You don't receive your permanente (or even a temporal) visa from the consulate; they accept your application and put a stamp in your US passport showing you are an applicant, which you will use to cross the border and then complete with immigration once you arrive in Mexico.
That said, every consulate treats applicants differently. We used the consulate (not the Embassy, two different places) in Washington DC. We had to make an appointment, but we showed up 45 minutes early and there was no line, no waiting. We had just retired, so I don't remember if we just showed bank and pension statements, but we had whatever documentation they requested (it is on the website).
The lady who reviewed the paperwork was quick, courteous, and we were out of there with two stamps in our passports in under 30 minutes.
Good luck!

Goodmorning NoVaDamer,
Thank you! Sorry I wasn't clear. I did mean permenante preapproval while my spouse still working (but can work anywhere remotely.)
The D. C. Consulate seems easy to make an appointment on its website. However, I failed to locate their specific permanente visa preapproval requirements.

If you can't show income from a retirement plan for a minimum 12 months then you can show a bank account with cash. A few years ago it was about $120,000 usd each.
Or I suppose you can apply for the right to work remotely along with your permanente application.
But as stated above each consulate is different. Make an appointment and ask them.

Thank you, CBob!
We qualified all the financial criteria.
We hope we planned to bring more than we need:
1. Visa application forms, passports, photo, marriage license and birth certificates.
2. Mexico house deed.
3. US house deed.
4. 12m bank statements.
5. 401K and IRA statements (only quarterly).
6. 12m pay stubs.
We also have hired Azu at ABC Legal for later.
Please advice if anything missing. We'd appreciate it very much!

They won't care about your US house deed. The rest looks about right.

Re: Which Mexican Consulate in the US Grants Same Day Permanente Visa Application
Each consulate is different, for many quick ones you provide all documents required and then in 2 hours to 2 days you come back for your preapproved visa sticker in your passport and then step one is done and you have 180 days to enter Mexico and start step 2
Each consulate is different, at some you may have the profile to qualify due to their application of criteria or not, others can qualify at any consulate, i.e. someone with $3,500/month in pension income will likely qualify for permanent at any consulate while someone with $1,200 a month in income may not qualify for temporary at all consulates, sometimes people with $400,000 in the bank may not qualify for permanent at one consulate as they may be 57 and not 60 while others don´t care while others may ask for at least $1 in social security or retirement to be "pensioners."
