I don´t know, haven ´t eaten a burger in any of those local places, and Carl´s Jr. is my favorite in GDL. Locally, the only places I will eat a hamburger is Panino´s, Gossips, and Bruno´s
It would be worth expanding your horizons to include the sirloin burger at Cocinart. You'll be surprised!

Huerta Cafe in Riberas also has a delicious sirloin burger.

It´s great if you live in the area and can walk to it. Not so good, and it´s like Tango, if you have to arrive by vehicle.

I'll grant that parking in that area is the pitts. Great burger, though.

Re: Casa Libertad
Other than during LCS hours there is usually plenty of parking within a block of Cocinart, both on 16 de Septiembre and Constitucion.

According to their FaceBook page map (no address given by the restaurant itself), they are between Rio Chamela and Calle de la Zapota, on the mountain side, perhaps, by La Ceiba? UPDATE: They are telling me 911 C. Poniente. That's just before the gas station at La Canacinta in a small strip.

BTW, Slainte, IMHO Carl's Jr. is the worst fast-food burger I ever ate. If you don't smother it with BBQ sauce, it's godawful. And the BBQ sauce is nasty, too, so it's a no-win for me.

Geeezzzzz.... I don't know where everyone is looking but this Cafe Libertad FB page shows it's on the north side of the Carrettera, opposite the Sunrise restaurant at one of the entrances to Chula Vista: https://www.facebook.com/pages/category/Restaurant/Casa-Libertad-572962163173548/

That's because the topic of the restaurant switched to hamburgers, and then the Lake City Grille.

The photo I get when I click on your site, is the Interlago Real Estate Office, which is at least a km. or two east of El Ancla, and I don´t think there is any restaurant there.
At Carl´s Jr., I usually get the Big Carl which only comes with onion, no sauces, as I don´t want any sauce, catsup, BBQ, or anything else on my hamburger. I like the meat because it´s not been frozen and usually has a good beef flavor (for a hamburger) and is IMO, better than BK or MacDonalds. I´m not an expert, but the grand daughters are, and that´s their favorite, so who am I to argue.

As you probably know, Google map images are at least 4 to 5 years old. The address is what they sent me today from the restaurant.
A Carls' J with no sauce is completely inedible. Even Trip's Burger is better than Carl's, and it's pretty bad. But I agree on BK and Mickey D's: the only thing worth getting is the Big Mac, because the sauce kills the taste of the meat.

Made a burger run to Trip's last week, used to be pretty good Burger, but they have reduced the size of their meat patty by 1/2 to 3/4 !
Still good fries but not going back.

Somebody sure like Trips, or else he is a very wealthy man... FaceBook shows he's about to open his 4th shop in Guadalajara and environs. My personal opinion tells me it's just that they will go for any kind of American-type fast food.

Well Arby´s, Wendy´s, Tony Romo´s, Whataburger, and couple of others must not have been their type. All came and went in GDL.

Doesn't say anything for all the ones that are still in GDL, though.

Lake City is about 1/2K west of La Ankla and the other restaurants, on the mountain side.

Could be said to be in the El Bajio area of the Carretera.
Honduran style hamburgers are their specialty. Jose and Tania, the owners, are from Honduras. Lot of meat for the money and very good quality. 2 or 3 times the size of any other hamburgers in this area.

Re: Casa Libertad
My wife and I visited Lake City about 10 days ago for lunch. The venue is very attractive with a lot of art glass displayed (and for sale). My wife tried a mac-n-cheese dish and I had a lamb burger. I thought the kitchen was very creative, combining several flavors to create a unique taste for each dish. That I liked very much.
My rap against the restaurant are the prices. Our dishes with 2 beers, no desserts, exceeded $500 pesos. So the quality, customer service, ambiance of the restaurant were all excellent. But they not competitive on price.
