Bulk Candy Wrappers

I'm make thc/cbd infused salt water taffy. I normally use wax paper to wrap the individual pieces however I find it sticks too much and makes it difficult to unwrap. Does anyone know anyplace locally that sells proper candy wrappers. I'm open to suggestions from any candy makers out there!!!

Edible wrappers made at home.

Parchment paper would work well, but a tad expensive.

I might put the pieces into to fridge then wrap them cold next time to see how that works.

I have tons of parchment paper. How much are you talking about? I could let you have some.

Nah, parchment is too thick and won't look good but many thanks for the offer.

Try shaking the taffy in cornstarch before wrapping.

Probably for the best as I think the crack would be a little chunky......lol.

Here's something that may work. This is just one example that I looked up. I'm sure there are others. Another idea is checking candy or other food wholesalers in Guadalajara.

Acapulco Gold is a myth. A very experienced grower told me it was never a strain, but it's unique color was from where it grown in the hills around Acapulco, it was partially sunburned but ocean breezes cooled it to maturity. It probably was a tropical pure sativa. One of the big seed companies claimed to have rebuilt its dna, but it not an exceptional plant and it contains indica strains which would not have been available at that time.

The best pot always came from the hydroponic labs in BC. They would give it exotic names but it was all grown locally in BC from the late 70's until today. Cloning really advanced the grade.

There is no way hydroponics can reproduce tropical summer. You live here, think about it. The northerners started to introduce strains to better to suit their circumstances.
Most people, especially tourists and newcomers, are not ready for a possible explosion of happiness and possible minor hallucinations.

Anyhow, I just received my first 300 wrappers so I'll let you know how they turn out.

I returning to Seattle from Germany (US Army) in 1969, and soon thereafter pot became very popular. And I remember all of us from the greater Seattle area knew that the  best pot in world was BC bud.  At least that is what we all believed. Whether it was or not, I really don't know, but we sure thought so.  Those were the good old days.

Now because it has become legal in the State of Washington, half the younger folks don't like to smoke it anymore, because half of the pleasure was breaking the rules not smoking the pot.

They just eat a gummy bear before heading to class. Maybe even share one with the teacher....

Yes they can. You can grow perfect cannabis in a closet. My stepson's been doing it for over thirty years.
There are now even hydroponic lights that are LED and consume far less electricity than the old halogen lights.

Yep, I knew guys doing it over 40 years ago. Very expensive set up back in those days. When it hit the street they would give it exotic names like Maui Waui, Sin semilla, Acapulco gold, Pineapple Express, etc. but it was all coming out of local hydroponic lab's. Those were the days when the Hells Angles were ruling the roost. Most of it was shipped south to the US and traded for cocaine.
