What’s happened to Dra. Candy’s dental office?

Holy cow! I just went to Dra. Candy’s “Dental Health One” office in Laguna Mall and ALL references to Dra. Candy have been removed! No explanation, no forwarding information, nada! Yes—it’s still a dental office, but where on earth is Dra. Candy Ugalde? Anyone? Help!

I have been going there for ages to have my teeth cleaned. Because no fillings nor repairs were required, I never saw Dr. Candy. At least that is what I understood.

All mention of Dra. Candy, a first-rate DDS trusted by many posters on this site, has had all references to her lovely, talented self expunged from what was, until last week, her busy dental office at Laguna Mall. Does anyone know if/ where she’s gone?

A couple of years ago my dentist and her husband who was also a dentist in the same medical office building in Sahuayo also disappeared.  I always wondered if the narcos had anything to do with it.

Has anyone asked the people at her office (or previous office)?

Not all Posters here found Dra. Candy to be a trusted first rate Dentista. She has many naysayers Lakeside.

Back years ago I went to her office for a crown consultation and a cleaning. She did the short consultation then walked out of the room. To my surprise a very young male came back in to do the cleaning. It was quick and shoddy. Went to pay and the consultation was free... as expected... but the cleaning was the full price being charged everywhere at the time (but elsewhere ALWAYS done by the actual dentist!). Later I was to find out that the 'young male' was her brother who was in his first year of dental school in Guadalajara.
Never went back there.

I was there this morning...all is the way it has been...she is still listed on the windows....her staff is still there and you can make an appointment to see her. Perhaps the original poster pulled into a Pemex in error.

That's about as strange a story as I've heard in a long time.

I hope she is still there. I need an appointment for some dental work while we are in SAT.

Update on Dra. Candy: all mention of her remains expunged from her office in Centro Laguna Mall, but I was given an appointment with Dra. Candy herself next Monday. A Christlike reemergence, to be sure. From staff overheard conversations among office ataff, several truly gifted dentists have left for greener pastures, Dra. Alejandra among them. Great thanks to all posters for your patience while I grappled with this dental dilemma. I appreciate your goodwill.

This observation... no name on windows.... appears to conflict with what Benjji said he saw just yesterday at that office.  

And 'staff bailing out' would appear to confirm that something is amiss there.  Eagerly awaiting a report next Monday from the OP,  LuvSouth.
