La Cristina neighborhood
Hi, I am trying to get information on the La Cristina neighborhood (west of Ajijic). We are thinking of moving to that area because its less busy than being in the center of Ajijic. I have heard some feedback about the Haciendas La Cristina being somewhat noisy on the weekends but don't know if we need to worry about lots of burglaries/robberies. Does anyone have information they can share? Thanks in advance.

Unstable internet was my experience with no cell towers in the vacinity. Check your potential house carefully if that is important to you. Otherwise, nice place to live.

La Cristina is part of Ajijic, just on the west edge. You are getting awfully close to Piedra Barrenada which is a congestion disaster, traffic wise. on weekends and holidays during daylight hours. Other than that, quietly residential.

Re: La Cristina neighborhood
I know folks who live in La Christina and belong/belonged to the computer club at the LCS. They complained in very strong voices about how bad their internet was.
Hopefully iLox will or has changed that. I do not know.
