Dental work
Barring any disaster...like the really effed up heart attack before Christmas that stopped that trip... we're coming down mid June...want it to be green. Going to go to Maz first.. we've been meaning to go for years but we always went to Lakeside first.... and never got past there. So the question is ..we're going to combine dental work with vacation so should we have it done in Maz? Or Lakeside? Anyone familiar with Mazatlán?

Re: Dental work
My advice would be to locate a Mazatlan forum and ask about the quality and price of dental work there.
I found this forum with a chat room. https://www.mazinfo.com
I also found a Mazatlan FB group. https://m.facebook.com/MazatlanForum

June is going to be hella hot in Mazatlan in June. Bad enough to do dental work, but hot and humid, too? Personally, I'd come to Lakeside. Plenty of good dentists to choose from and you'll be much more comfortable. Welcome back, BTW!

Re: Dental work
I would have the dental work done where I live, just in case something goes wrong down the road. So lakeside if that is your residence.

Re: Dental work
Thanks Ggirl… All the advice to do it in NOB ROTFLMAO!!! Medicare doesn't cover dental and it's ridiculously expensive up here ( answers to everyone's comments combined here) What I was hoping to find was someone who had actually checked out both places. Never been to Maz… but I remember "Uncle Donnie" talking about "chihuahua sized shrimp" and ...times a wastin'. I can't take the hot humid for a few days.... Mississippi you know. Can't go sooner...I want it to be green when we get to Lakeside. Trying to get the best out of everywhere. We should have already been moved down...the fates are starting to piss me off.

Re: Dental work
Kippy, it's going to make a world of difference what kind of work you need done and how long you're going to be here. You mentioned Dra. Candy but I believe she is going on maternity leave. My choices for you include Dr. Barragan and Dr. Haro but both need to be booked well in advance... and it again depends on what needs to be done. I have used both.

I too have had very good luck with Dr. Haro and his staff. I have heard good things about Dr. Barragan.

I agree. He is the best. One has a diploma from Univ of Maryland. I wrote the registrar and it is fake. A product of Guad.
