Las Miche - Awesome Burger

The other night I had a burger at Las Miche, the michelada bar on the Caraterra across from Roberto's. It was awesome and was nearly 1/2#! $50 pesos. Sometimes he has ribs too. If they're as good as the burger I can't wait. The owner told me that the grill chef used to work at a Hard Rock Cafe' and this was his version of the Hard Rock recipe.

Is it better than 60's? I have found nothing that compares with theirs. Zoey

Hmmm. Good Burgers are each unique. I've never cared for 60s burger, not that it was bad, but it didn't do it for me. I like the burger at El Sarape the most. The one at Las Miche is different and a pleasant change.

Las Miche is now serving breakfast.

60's is still my favorite Lakeside however I haven't tried Las Miche yet. I will next time down.

It depends on who is doing the cooking, I have had the burgers 3x, 1x was awesome, the other two were malo. They also seem to have a problem when one orders a side with the burger, never can deliver both at the same time. So, last time was the last time.

Never had a problem, same guy cooking all the time. I've even had them delivered. I live only a couple of blocks away so it works well.

You got the guy who knows how to do it. I like that place, just been disappointed, don't eat beef often, when I do, I'd like it to be at least OK.
On another note re: hamburgers; I found the "Thins", new hamburger rolls at Sorianna's yesterday, they had both the wheat and full grain, I bought the wheat, came home and grilled a burger. Had cheese, tomato, onion, relish, avocado, mustard, mayo and ketchup on it and the rolls never disintegrated and it was delish. A little off thread, but related. Wish I could get same at Las Miche.
