El Ancla burger plug

Last week I felt the fairly rare urge for a good hamburger, and since all the rest of their lunches have been outstanding in quality, I ordered one (90 pesos) and was awed by the size of what arrived.  It was enough for me and spouse!  The meat was high grade and the patty thick.  I recommend it for hungry burger fans! The price was lower than some other "better" restaurants as well. ( I'm a little shocked when I see a hamburger on their menus at prices up to $150 pesos, and see what's served as pretty ordinary.)

I eat there around once a week. Safety protocals used; indoor and outdoor seating. I usually have their poblano sauce chicken or shrimp. Yum.

For those who need directions: West of Ajijic, lake side, just past the big gas station on the mountain side. Small strip with several eateries and a chocolate shop.

Any day they’re closed? I checked their Facebook page and it says Always Open but don’t want to fight that traffic only to find they aren’t open.
