Paying TelMex online with Mexican debit card - sudden problem!

For the last 18 months we have paid our TelMex bill online using a Mexican HSBC Debit card.  This month the card is suddenly being denied.  The same card pays the CFE bill okay, withdraws money from ATMs and pays for purchases online.

Anyone seeing similar TelMex online payment issues this month?

I paid Telmex online with our Bancomer CREDIT card. I can never use my DEBIT card to pay for anything online because a pin # is needed to prevent fraud.

Sounds like you were paying, using the Telmex web site. I pay Telmex by signing on to my Mexican bank and paying Telmex from there, having set up Telmex as a payee.

That worked!  TelMex as a payee from HSBC...   Thankyou!
