Direct Primary Care
Apparently this is trending in the U.S.A. Physicians who not accept insurance, but charge 50$ to $150 per month, which covers a wide range of doctor visits, I would guess with some sort of cap on how many visits and procedures you can receive per year. I don't know any details - but it may be an option here at Lakeside with health insurance costs zooming, and many report difficulties getting paid anyways. I think there is a private hospital in Puerto Vallarta that offers this plan, and they have a few hospitals in Mexico.
