Re: Ranch Dog Adoption Day this Saturday - 7 April
Here is this week's line-up. NOTE: we don’t have photos for all the puppies and dogs. Please come and see them for yourselves.
Puppies in Pen:
Jazzy is a 5 month old, dark brindle girl with a soft, plushy coat who just oozes charm. Her front half is mostly brindle while the back half is mostly black. Very unusual girl. Her brother Rocky has found his home but Jazzy is still looking. We expect her to be medium sized but stay a lap dog at heart.
Wynona was rescued with 3 other siblings (Bijou, Willa, and Maddox, who have been adopted). At about 5 months old, we expect her to be on the small side of medium. She is loving, lively and playful but not hyper. Mama-dog and the other pups looked more terrier but Wynona looks more hound with a stunning brindle pattern that you can’t appreciate in a photo.
Montana and Louisiana are part of a litter of 4 puppies found abandoned in a vacant lot. The are about 3 months old, purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) black and white variety. Montana has long hair and Louisiana has short hair with a tail light.
Charlie and Tucker ll are Chili’s pups. (see below) They are about 4 months old and possibly boxer, pitbull mixes. One is tan and the other is black. Both are puppy cute. We expect them to be medium to large in size.
Izzy was rescued from a trash bin, but we thing the person who did this is basura, not Izzy. She is a lovely 3 month-old reddish Labrador Reviewer mix currently living in foster care.
Adult Dogs
Bentley is irresistibly cute with way too much personality! This 7 month-old-fuzzy boy was rescued from the street. When grown, he most likely will be medium to large in size. He looks like there may be some purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) brown variety in the mix along with some breed with a soft plushy coat. Bently would do best with a laid back mellow dog friend as he tends to take center stage. He definitely has WOW factor.
Milagro This bouncy ball of Labrador-mix "teenager" is 8 months old and growing! We expect Milagro will be a big boy when he grows up. Rescued from a dangerous environment as a puppy and fostered, he's now happy, healthy and "home-worthy". We might consider including his favorite ball.
Chili is a pretty brown and white female Boxer. She is about 2 years old and medium sized. Chili recently had a large litter, who are elsewhere, but she is starting to regain weight and get back her girlish figure. She has lots of energy and enthusiasm, a perfect companion for the right person. See 2 of her puppies above.
Lia is too recent for a picture, but she is a 9 month old purebred MSD (Mexican Street Dog) tan and white variety. She is a sweet with pretty markings. Lia has lots off energy and is going to be a big girl when she is grown up. Need a hiking partner? Lia would like to apply for the job.
All our Ranch dogs are neutered, current on their 6 way shots and rabies. Puppies have had some shots and been wormed, but most are not yet altered. We will pay for altering when they are old enough. There is no charge for adoption, but donations are gratefully accepted. For photos and pictures of our other dogs please see our Webpage:
