iLox FIBRA email re: hi-speed internet
Hi,
I received and email with the subject: Internet mediate FIBRA (ilox Telecomunicaciones)Ajijic-Jocotepec-Chapala!!!!
I take it this is about the potentially coming hi-speed internet. Of course,, like everyone I want it. What they now want is for me (us) to pay a year in advance. If enough people do this then they will bring it here. Also, it means those who do so will be among the first to receive the service. It means giving them between P$7000 and $14,000 depending on which plan you choose.
I'm wondering if someone cleverer than I has opinions.
Cheers,
Michael

Just got the TV Rey (parent company) contract and deposit remittance form.
A little light reading to say the least.
Is there a way we can get a translation to serve all the potential clients. I would contribute to the cost.
I'm raring to go.

or Google translate if you can get a digital copy. It's usually pretty decent.

Thanks for translating. Although this has been discussed "ad nauseam" it is now in a new phase. I am planning on investing - worse case I loose 7,000 pesos. But, the upside is incredible. My main issue, my address in my contract is wrong. I have emailed them twice to correct that.

I made my deposit yesterday. I can hardly describe how much I resent the monopolistic ineptitude and indifference of TelMex.

300 had committed, but as of March 13 - 60 have made a deposit. 140 more deposits to end Telmex - and to be ruled by another large entity. I hope iLox does not fail or Telmex will be unbearable.

I dunno. Ron, out in Jaltepec has the cable running right by his 2 businesses and they won't let him tap into it. And he's one of the investors.
I would not be happy!

Fiber is not like copper. You can't just "tap" into it.

.... and especially if it is a ‘long haul’ cable routing which is what I understood/stand that iLox is mostly all about.
