Paying CFE online
I've got my account set up...password, etc..but it won't accept my Bancomer credit card although I know it should be fine. I use it for other purchases all the time. Any ideas short of schlepping over there to pay at the machine? Too late to pay via Oxxo, etc.

I've never been able to do that. They ask for a code -forget now what it was called- and show a picture of a CFE Bill as to where the code can be found but the picture looks nothing like MY CFE bill and I can't find the code they ask for.
If someone could clear this up I would appreciate it.

Re: Paying CFE online
If it’s of any help. I always use xoom by PayPal. I pay TELMEX. TELCEL and CFE. Once I have the bill set up. It gets delivered directly to the app. There’s a $2.99 service fee. you need to attach a bank and or credit card. US card or account is fine. Exchange rate isn’t perfect. I’ve used both methods with Capitol one and nomthere is not a cash advance fee applied. The fee a flat 2.99. For some that’s too much hassle. Ive been told it’s foolish and costly for not choosing a more difficult and time consuming method. Again. It’s just personal choice. Not saying it’s the best. But it certainly is helpful when I’m NOB.

The code is the "scan code number" at the bottom of the bill. When entering online (bank) I must place the 30 digit code into 2 parts (it's explained on the pay page of the online banking). It works well and fast...
